What to Expect
Your microneedling session begins with a thorough cleanse of the treatment area, followed by application of a topical numbing cream for comfort. Once the skin is prepared, I'll use the SkinPen device to create controlled micro-channels across the targeted areas. Most treatments take approximately 30–45 minutes.
Immediately after treatment, your skin may appear red and feel similar to a mild sunburn—this is completely normal and typically resolves within 24–48 hours. Mild dryness and flaking may occur over the following days as your skin heals and renews.
Visible improvement in skin texture, tone, and firmness develops gradually over the weeks following treatment as new collagen is produced. For optimal results, a series of 3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended.
